    They did a beautiful job. I buttered them up by complimenting them, and saying how much the senior center will benefit. I believe in the old saw that you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, so then I pointed out the sign in the middle of the street that seems to be a regular target for drivers with bad steering, and asked them if they could fix it provided they had enough material left over. They did and they did, so it is upright again, until the next incident…
    A big mahalo to them. Later that day they honked and waved at me as they drove out of time, and I gave them a shaka.
