(Media release) — Anaeho’omalu Bay has a new option for laidback barefoot luxury: Lava Lava Beach Club.
Lava Lava Beach Club features four contemporary freestanding cottages, a 120-seat open air restaurant and bar, and an outdoor event lawn that can accommodate up to 1,000 people.
“We are thrilled to present this remarkable new beachfront destination,” said Scott Dodd, co-owner. “More than a year ago, our team set out to build a one-of-a-kind destination here on the Kohala Coast. We did it! Lava Lava Beach Club is the ultimate destination for beach fun.”
Each of the four contemporary Hawaiian cottages were designed, constructed and decorated to reflect a toes-in-the-sand beach chic lifestyle. With 576 square feet of beachfront real estate found under roof, each cottage includes a private covered lanai, outdoor natural lava rock shower enclosure, a king size bed outfitted with luxurious linens, a punee (Hawaiian for day-bed) in the living room area and a kitchenette should guests decide to go from bed to breakfast to beach.
the cottages named Kahakai (Hawaiian for beach or seashore), Moana (Hawaiian for ocean), Nalu (Hawaiian for wave or surf) and Wa’a (Hawaiian for canoe) are air-conditioned and feature flatscreen televisions and i-home music systems.
The Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant opens in June with unbeatable views and many seats are right on the beach. The restaurant features a “relaxed island” menu that spotlights locally sourced ingredients incorporating the resort’s farm-to-beach philosophy. Specially blended tropical cocktails and the sounds of live music add to the beach vibe of perfect Hawaiian days.
Lava Lava Beach Club is brought to you by the same people who own Huggo’s, a oceanfront restaurant in Kailua-Kona, On The Rocks, a casual beach bar in Kailua-Kona, Paradise Gourmet Catering and Grass Shack Parties & Rentals, the go-to source for all of events.
