Have you ever thought about how you are living your life? Life is short, you are only blessed with one body and you should be healthy, happy and free. Here are 8 ways to live life wonderfully:

MAKE FITNESS A JOURNEY.

Your fitness journey shouldn’t be torturous and viewed as something that must be endured just to reach your goal. Set small goals along the way, train hard, eat well, cheat if you must but it’s so important to keep yourself sane or you’ll never reach your destination. Although in reality with fitness, there really is no destination— it is a life long journey so you better make it wonderful.

MAKE EVERY MINUTE COUNT.

When working out this means short and intense workouts that targets multiple muscles and pushing as hard as you can. In your everyday life, this means working efficiently, making priorities, and blocking your time off so you have free time to pursue your personal pleasures. Remember, being busy all the time isn’t something to be proud of so make every minute count to ensure yourself that freedom.

EAT WHEN YOU WANT, NOT WHEN YOU’RE TOLD.

Some people need breakfast while others swear they aren’t hungry in the morning. Some prefer to eat a large meal during lunch while other love a big hearty meal at the dinner table. Some can’t eat a couple of hours prior to bed time while others need just a tiny bit of healthy carbs and protein to fill their tummies before they snooze. We all hear about what we should and shouldn’t do in terms of our diet but nothing is really proven 100% so they are all guidelines. If it is working for you, keep on doing it. If not, change it.

If hunger is not the problem, then eating is not the solution.

YOUR DIET SHOULD INCLUDE FOODS YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO EAT.

If you don’t like spinach, find an alternative. There are hundreds of vegetables out there so you have to find at least one that you would like! If not, then you should probably learn to cook because proper cooking techniques can make most things taste amazing.

MAKE GROCERY SHOPPING AN ADVENTURE.

My confession: grocery shopping is almost my favorite form of shopping, besides clothes of course haah! And you realize how sad your life is when you head to your favorite grocery store when you are bored just to browse the aisles and aisles of wonderful ingredients.

DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER.

Just like fitness, water changed my life. Muscle building takes time but when I started on my journey, the first thing I noticed were the positive changes when I cut out all those sneaky liquid ingredients and started to drink lots of water.

LOVE YOUR BODY.

Look at yourself in the mirror, take pictures, post it on Instagram… love your body, don’t be afraid to flaunt it and inspire others!  It’s easy to be skinny but it’s hard to be lean, fit and strong.

    MY father said all things in moderation and physical labor and daily prayer will keep you alive. His father died at 68 and he died at 86. He lived 2 years with bone cancer(average life expectancy 6 months). He had two shots of scotch and two cigarettes each night until he found he had cancer.
    We are all walking miracles and to destroy such a wonderful body is a self inflicted early mortality.
