(Media release) — The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in a sexual assault investigation.
At about 1 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 1), an adult female was waiting for a ride on the makai side of Kuakini Highway when four unknown men attacked her, causing multiple injuries to her face and neck. During this attack, at least one of the men sexually assaulted her.
The men left the area in an unknown direction. They are described as being in their early 20s.
Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident call Detective Gerald Wike of the Juvenile Aid Section at 326-4646, extension 302, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
